Anyone interested in learning more about the college preparatory high school education offered at Providence Hall is invited to attend an open house on Sunday, November 7, from 2:00 p.m. through 4:00 p.m. Learn about the school’s rigorous college preparatory curriculum rooted in the humanities, meet teachers, and explore the historic downtown Santa Barbara campus, shared with the Notre Dame School at 33 E. Micheltorena Street.
Providence Hall students read the great books and learn the big ideas of western civilization while engaging in frequent and vigorous classroom discussions. Challenging courses in mathematics, sciences, and foreign languages, as well as music, art, theater, and fitness pursuits such as surfing and ultimate frisbee round out the curriculum. A course examining Christian beliefs throughout the centuries helps students address the challenges they face in today’s global society.
Providence Hall is a 9-12 day school, fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Students compete in CIF athletics. The school admits students regardless of race, religion, or national origin. Financial aid is available.
