Looking for perfect post-Turkey family fun? Head to the S.B. Zoo (500 Niños Dr.) this Thanksgiving day for the Annual Pumpkin Smash, where elephants, gorillas, and other zoo animals are given holiday pumpkins to play and interact with—and possibly smash!—in front of a live audience. Kids will also have the chance to learn about some of the Zoo’s most special creatures from the ground’s animal keepers. The fun runs from 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. this Thursday, November 25; the event is free with Zoo admission. Call 962-5339 for more info.
