The Board of Supervisors voted on 1/18 to approve the implementation of previous-negotiated wage deferrals and adjustments for county employees represented by SEIU Local 620 and the Engineers and Technicians Association. Concessions by the two groups over the past two years have saved the county roughly $7.2 million, while the wage adjustment will be a 3.5 percent increase.
