This beautiful garnet colored wine presents a soft nose with hints of smoke and cherry. This wine is fruit forward, yet refined. More herbal and vegetative than its Bordelaise relatives, this vintage also displays some spice and hints of plums and violets. The wine has great structure with soft tannins. It is a sturdy wine that is smooth in its finish and has the potential to age well. This wine is very similar to the great Bordeauxs.
We are pleased to announce that this particular vintage just won BEST IN SHOW at the 2011 American Fine Wine Competition! Our Cab Franc won the best red – overall, in a field of 600 wines!
We are proud to offer you this award-winning selection…Enjoy!
