Montecito Bank & Trust’s Revive & Thrive Business Event a Success
Montecito Bank & Trust hosted a special business event, Revive and Thrive: Business Strategies for Success in 2011, on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at the Santa Barbara Fess Parker Doubletree Resort. Jane Applegate, one of America’s most respected small business management advisors, was the keynote speaker to an audience of over 200 local business leaders, business owners and nonprofit executive directors. Applegate, an award-winning former syndicated columnist for the Los Angeles Times and author of four books on small business success, shared practical, proven strategies on business management, money and marketing.
“I was inspired to be here in Santa Barbara with such a receptive audience of local business owners and nonprofit executive directors. I interview successful business owners from all over the country and find they all share the same characteristics: high energy, passion and curiosity,” said Applegate. “Santa Barbara business owners are no exception and I so enjoyed learning innovative ideas from them. I am sure Montecito Bank & Trust’s Ventura County business event on May 19th will be another exciting exchange of strategies.”
Janet A. Garufis, president and CEO said, “We were so pleased to host so many local businesses and nonprofits for the networking and education that took place tonight with Jane Applegate. Montecito Bank & Trust is committed to making the communities we serve better places to live and work. Bringing expert resources and strategies for success to local businesses and nonprofits are part of that commitment. We are looking forward to bringing Jane Applegate back for another business event scheduled for Thursday, May 19 in Ventura.
