Take a walk in the park this Saturday, June 11, during the Sedgwick Reserve Interpretive Hike, a monthly docent-led trek through a spectacular University of California-owned nature reserve in the Santa Ynez Valley. The hikes, which will also be offered on the second Saturday of each month through October, will showcase the many fascinating features of the majestic 200-acre property—including Little Pine Fault, wildflowers and trees, the traces and tracks of wild animals, diverse ecosystems, and more. The hike starts at 8:30 a.m. and costs $10-$15. Call 686-1941 to preregister and for directions to a meet-up location.
