Highway 101 Lanes to Close for Hollister Overcrossing Demolition

Motorists Advised to Detour to Hollister and Winchester Ramps

A full closure of southbound Highway 101 lanes will go into effect tonight, June 23, between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. for the demolition of the Hollister Avenue overcrossing.

Motorists are instructed to detour to the northbound and southbound on/off ramps at Hollister Avenue and Winchester Road.

The California Department of Transportation will be widening Calle Real to include two 12-foot lanes and two five-foot shoulders from Cathedral Oaks road to the northbound onramp of Highway 101.

Intermittent one-way traffic control will go into effect Monday through Thursday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
