County Staff Will Probe Deeper into Coral Casino Issue
After hearing statements on 6/22 from several members of the Coral Casino concerned that their club was no longer private but instead overrun by guests of the neighboring Biltmore Hotel, the Montecito Planning Commission said the issue needed a deeper look by county staff. Questions from members arose shortly after Ty Warner, who also owns the Biltmore, bought the Coral Casino and planned major renovations. Since the clubs reopening in 2008, many members have had concerns about Warner following the guidelines under which he was supposed to operate the club.
