Direct Relief International has pledged more than $250,000 in grants to five clinics in Illinois and Missouri communities still reeling from tornadoes and flooding this past spring. The money will help these clinics serve uninsured and low-income patients while also helping two of the clinics prepare for future emergencies. Overall, Direct Relief has donated $3.8-million worth of medicines and health supplies to clinics in the East, Southeast, and Midwest that have been pummeled by storms and flooding.
