The Isla Vista Wreckreation and Parks District is now considering building a BMX course in the West Estero park near the Frisbee course. Old California oaks, eucalyptus, other trees, wildlife, flora, animals, and so much more are again threatened by these extreme radical right-wing directors. Since they did not run for re election and are leaving they are certainly going all out to destroy as much as possible.
The Anisq’oyo’ pond has dried up so much that the endangered turtles are running out to find water and are getting run over by cars. The IVRPD turned the water off and sealed the faucets. They claim the Environmentally Sensitive Habitat Area (ESHA) designation does not allow for chlorinated water for the pond? These extremists have long wanted development of the parks and have no consideration about the ESHA whatsoever.
