Santa Barbara Rescue Mission Annual 4th of July Carnival
– The celebration will occur in the Rescue Mission’s parking lot located at 535 E. Yanonali St.
– The Mission is preparing to serve a BBQ dinner to feed approximately 500 homeless men, women and children.
– Through the efforts of staff members and volunteers there will be a carnival of games provided and music to entertain the guests.
– Rolf Geyling, President of the Rescue Mission, stated “Poverty doesn’t take a vacation so neither do we! The Santa Barbara Rescue Mission is the only local agency providing summer overnight shelter to the homeless, along with other emergency services and lifechanging recovery programs.”
