Wilderness in Art: A Retrospective
On view August 24 through September 29, 2013
On view will be a stunning sampling of wilderness in art. Looking back at the Wildling’s exhibition history and the beautiful works of art that have graced the museum’s walls: Ansel Adams, Ray Strong, Dick Smith, Diane Orr, Clyde Butcher, James Swinnerton, Conrad Buff, Marion Wachtel, Carl Oscar Borg, and museum founder Patti Jacquemain.

Starstruck: Visions of the Night Sky by Third Grade Students in the Santa Ynez Valley

An exhibit cosponsored by the Wildling Museum and the Save Our Stars Committee of W.E. Watch of artwork created by third grade students from Santa Ynez Valley schools during their astronomy units in the 2012-2013 school year.

The Wildling Museum, where art and nature meet, offers visitors a unique perspective on the importance of preserving our natural heritage. The Museum is located at 1511-B Mission Drive, Solvang, California. Starting August 24, the Museum is open from 11:00am to 5:00pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. On Saturday and Sunday the Museum is open from 10:00am to 5:00pm. The Museum is closed Tuesday.
