David Dominguez, Club Alumni and Former Tribal Chairman to the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians is appointed to the Board of Boys & Girls Club of Santa Barbara. David spent a lot of his youth at the Santa Barbara Boys & Girls Club, and he’s been a passionate supporter of the organization ever since.

David Dominguez, a former Tribal Chairman for the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians, is serving his fifth consecutive term as a member of the tribe’s Business Committee. In the early ’90s, David was elected Tribal Chairman and spent nearly a decade leading the tribe. Since 2005, David has been a member of the Business Committee as it guides the tribe through a period of unprecedented growth. Prior to his involvement in tribal leadership, he worked for the city of Santa Barbara for 40 years and also had a plumbing business and a travel agency.
