More Than a Village
While the adage is true that it takes a village to raise a child, to run a successful Quick Draw event, it takes more. It takes an entire valley, the amazing event coordinator Holly Cline, and then some.
Our thanks to scores of artists, musicians, local businesses, community volunteers, and residents, as well as visitors. This year’s Quick Draw event was our most successful one yet! In fact we set new records — for attendance, auction proceeds, and direct artist sales — to ensure that arts and culture stay alive in our valley.
A special thanks to the event sponsors: Los Olivos Business Organization (LOBO), the SYV Hotel Association and Team Scarborough. We also received outstanding community support from: Buttonwood Farm Winery & Vineyard, Central Coast Industries, Coghlan Vineyard & Jewelers, Corner House Coffee, Gallery Los Olivos, Los Olivos Park Foundation, Los Olivos Rotary Club, Los Olivos Wine Merchant & Cafe, Photographers for Non-Profits, St. Mark’s-in-the-Valley Episcopal Church, SYV Elite Party Rentals, Tamara’s Catering, Union Bank, The Wildling Museum, and Bernice and Lou Weider.
