Veterans Treatment Court Graduation on May 23, 2014

The second Veterans Treatment Court Graduation will be commenced on May 23, 2014, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Veterans’ Memorial Building located at 112 West Cabrillo Boulevard in Santa Barbara, California.

The Veterans Treatment Court in Santa Barbara was initiated in 2012 and conducted its first graduation in November 2013. The District Attorney’s Office recognizes the hard work and dedication of the participants which include the Public Defender, Veterans Administration, Santa Barbara County Veterans Services Officer, Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s Office, Department of Mental Health Services, Santa Barbara Police Department, Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office, Santa Barbara County Probation Department, the Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (CADA), and the Court.

On May 23, 2014, the graduation ceremony will celebrate veterans who have successfully completed the program. The event is open to the public and will be a meaningful start to the Memorial Day holiday. The graduation will feature several speakers and light refreshments.
