The Goleta City Council will get the final say on a 465-unit Villages of Los Carneros residential complex near Los Carneros Road and Highway 101, after the city’s Planning Commission voted 4-1 on Monday to approve the project. The complex would offer a mix of housing types plus amenities like a bike path, parks, and open space. City staff addressed citizens’ concerns about the development’s effects on traffic, noise levels, and a nearby creek.
