A man crossing Hollister Avenue outside a crosswalk was hit by an MTD bus Thursday afternoon. The accident, which occurred at 2:23 p.m. near Magnolia Avenue in Old Town Goleta, left the pedestrian with moderate injuries and he was transported by ambulance to Cottage Hospital. No one on the bus was hurt. The incident is under investigation by the Sheriff’s Department.
