Five suspects were arrested in Isla Vista early this morning after two reports of robberies early Sunday and Monday on the 6500 block of Seville Road. One suspect — a white, twenty-something man, 5’11” and about 165 pounds who was wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt — has yet to be found, according to UCSB’s campus alert system. Authorities received reports about this robbery at about 2 a.m. on Monday morning.
The incident may be linked to a reported robbery by three armed suspects at about 4:30 a.m. on Sunday at the same location on Seville Road. One suspect might have had a firearm, according to the campus alert. The Sheriff’s department is handling the case. No further information was immediately available.
