Jesse Blake Rogers, 25, has been named a suspect in a Monday afternoon bank robbery of the Santa Barbara Teachers Federal Credit Union at 3970 La Colina Road. Citing pending investigation, city police didn’t release the amount of money Rogers allegedly stole at around 1:12 p.m. Monday, but did say he obtained the cash via a demand note. “No weapon was seen,” the police press release read.

In 2012, Rogers was booked into County Jail after he overdosed on heroin while driving and crashed into a home on the 600 block of Aurora Avenue. He is now wanted on a $100,000 felony arrest warrant for the alleged bank robbery. Police detectives are asking community members to call 9-1-1 if they see Rogers. To share information about his whereabouts, people may call Detective Douglas Klug at (805) 897-2346, email him at dklug@sbpd.com, or call anonymously at (805) 897-2386.
