Walker Finds Man’s Body on Haskell’s Beach
He Was Identified as Milton Oglesby, 69

Investigation into the manner of his death — this point not deemed to have involved foul play — is pending toxicology and lab results, said the Sheriff’s Office. A woman walking her dog Thursday afternoon at around 4:30 p.m. on Haskell’s Beach below Bacara Resort & Spa discovered the body of a dead man located in a rocky area of the beach, according to a Thursday Sheriff’s Office press release.
Although the man’s identity is unknown, he appeared to be in his fifties or sixties, the Sheriff’s Office said. The Sheriff’s Coroner’s Bureau is investigating his identity and the circumstances surrounding his death.
