Two Goleta men were arrested September 20 for selling a whopping 20 pounds of methamphetamine to investigators with the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office, following a five-month investigation.

Undercover narcotics officers coordinated the sale with 27-year-old Guillermo Rea and 36-year-old Victor Ruvalcaba-Romero, who arrived with the packages of drugs to a pre-arranged location on the 5800 block of Calle Real, where they were arrested. The seized methamphetamine has an estimated street value of over $729,000.

Rea and Ruvalcaba-Romero were booked in County Jail and await arraignment.
