Davey the Cat

Davey the Cat

PRINT THAT CAT! Bundles of joy come in all different shapes and sizes, and for Indy columnist Penny Patterson and her girlfriend, Jackie, theirs comes in the form of Davey, their newly acquired kitten. Adopted from the Humane Society a few weeks ago, Davey (as in Havok, not Crockett) is a ball of energy whose favorite activities include eating, snuggling with his moms, and playing with, well, anything. “One time he got so excited about a ball of yarn that he ate some of it, and, well, let’s just say it was an unpleasant experience for everyone involved,” Penny said dryly. A curious cat who manages to find adventures everywhere-from under the futon to on top of the kitchen cabinets-Davey has brought nothing but love into Penny and Jackie’s home.
