Calle Real Campus Evacuated as Deputies Search Area

Santa Barbara Sheriff’s deputies are currently responding to a bomb threat at 345 Camino del Remedio, the Calle Real campus for the county’s Public Health Department and Alcohol, Drug, and Mental Health Services.

According Sheriff’s department spokesperson Drew Sugars, authorities received a call just before 1:00 p.m. from an anonymous person claiming to have knowledge of an explosive placed somewhere on the property.
