Nobody is going to get rich operating a 600sqft restaurant, especially with that overhead. I would count yourself lucky if you can pay yourself and some workers.

Its only $250 a year. I don't think thats going to break the budget for those business and 165K is not going to go far as far as gentrification goes. Thats what the city pays for one consultant to do a study. You can't blame these businesses for wanting to make the area around their stores nicer and maybe attract more business. Thats their job, to make money.

We had an annoying neighbor fly one about 20' over our property. We called the cops on him, but we had other issues with him going on otherwise I wouldn't have been so quick to do so. The dispatcher didn't even know what a drone was. The cops came out, took a report, talked to the neighbor, and if I'm not mistaken he lied to the cops about it. I have been racking my brain about what I can use to take down one of those things with out violating any firearm laws. I find the noise of drones to be annoying. The fact that they can be used for spying is another nail in the coffin for me. There is no way those should be used in an urban environment.

City Council Members, Is this story true? http://www.independent.com/news/2015/...If so, I can not tell you how disappointed I am. This study is the type of governmental action that makes people not trust government and make us question our election choices. Why would you actually need to spend that sort of money? I’m embarrassed for you and city government. Please reassess your priorities, their must be better things to spend money on. Why don’t you try focusing on the people that actually live here.Truly Disappointed
