I cannot agree more with previously posted comments with respect to dragging this project on and on. I live 1-1/2 hours away and absolutely have the greatest memories of The Miramar of the 90's. Many birthday and New Years' celebrations with family and friends because it was so close and yet a feeling of getting away without having to get on a plane or drive for miles. Of course, this has much more relevance in today's world. I do understand environmental concerns as I live in a small beach town that went from "funky" to "upscale" due to oil contamination along the beachfront street. This town will never be the same. However, the Miramar is absolutely the most beautiful piece of beachfront property on this part of the California coast, and I cannot believe the residents of Montecito want to see that chain link fence much longer. Let's go Caruso, get it done.
