Actually what Channelkeeper did was warn the City that other groups may challenge their desalination facility permit if they opted to use an open ocean intake which will soon be prohibited by state law. Channelkeeper also asked them to study the feasibility of a subsurface intake which that law has identified as the preferred technology because it doesn't kill millions of fish. Doesn't seem "terrorist" to me.

they aren't going to ban ALL plastic bags, just those used to carry out groceries at markets and pharmacies, and not the smaller clear ones you put produce in. you already pay for the larger trash bags you put your kitchen and yard waste in, so you'll still have plenty of plastic bags to use to dispose of your junk.
