What about the people who had 3 days off - but returned to work to put out the fire and save lives?
And not the army?
Or the police?
Just in case your life is threatened; in any way, these people made a committment to save you in any and all ways possible. You sound like the type that makes people wonder why that person was saved.

Does your job insist that you arrive immediately at any and all hours to save lives? That's what makes them heros.

Pretty insulting to say "female patients haven't driven the demand for change". If non invasive surgery is not explained, how would we know?
Unfortunately I was made to believe that traditional abdominal hysterectomy was my only choice. With my beloved sister saying no!! I went ahead with the surgery.
Fifteen years later I refuse to be bitter and pray for equality.
