Thanks for making the bus seem "cool," Starshine. I too took the bus in L.A. as a teenager, but ended up in East L.A. wondering how I got there instead of to the mall... Thank goodness the driver gave us transfers and we got home Ok. Living downtown in SB lets me walk most places, but maybe I'll take the bus to work in Carp... Maybe.
