UCSB Recognized For Carbon-Cutting Efforts

The National Wildlife Federation named UCSB as one of the eight prize winners in Chill Out, a competition gauging campus efforts to fight global warming. More than 100 colleges entered. UCSB’s “Campus Climate Neutral” campaign-which encourages energy conservation to lower carbon emissions-was credited with helping the college place so high.
