Kidnap, assault, and car theft suspect Jose Morales Leon was arrested on 5/7 in Buellton.
After the car he allegedly stole broke down, the suspect kidnapped a woman at gunpoint in Oxnard, according to law enforcement. Police report the female victim was sexually assaulted before escaping and contacting authorities. Leon and an unidentified passenger were both taken to Santa Barbara County Jail after crashing a stolen vehicle while attempting to evade arrest. For longer story, see here.
