There’s a new art market in town, and this one sets up shop across from the Saturday Farmers Market at 624 Santa Barbara Street. The market is sponsored by S.B. Pro Imaging shop owner Paul Garcia and runs from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Weekly vendors vary, but include sellers of screen-printed T-shirts, pottery, fused glass, paintings, cement solar fountains, and hand-sewn tropical clothing. There are also non-artisan vendors selling imported Southeast Asian scarves, antique California citrus labels, and organic Amazonian rainforest products including tea, salves, and face cream. All in all, the Saturday market is shaping up to be a one-stop shop for a lot of local goods.
