Westmont Grad Named Bush’s Assistant

Jedd Medefind, a 1997 graduate of Westmont College, was named Special Assistant to President George W. Bush and Deputy Director of the U.S. Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives. Medefind was previously working as the director of the Center for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives at the Department of Labor, and before that worked as the chief of staff for Assemblymember Tim Leslie.
