PETA Protests Kangaroo Skin Sales

Animal rights group PETA protested a state bill overturning the ban on sales of kangaroo skin. Two activists and a third member sporting a kangaroo costume held up signs reading “Save My Skin” and distributed leaflets to passersby. The demonstration took place between noon and 1 p.m. on 6/4 at the intersection of State and De la Guerra streets.
