Plane Veers Off Runway at SB Airport

Strong winds were the apparent cause of a small, single-engine plane veering off the runway during landing at Santa Barbara Municipal Airport late on 6/30. The plane’s two passengers were uninjured. Unlike a 6/10 incident in which another plane skidded off the runway, this accident did not affect other airport traffic.
