Cleese Family Helps Fundraise for La Casa de Maria
La Casa de Maria, an ecumenical retreat center owned by the Immaculate Heart Community, can see light at the end of its mortgage. Less than $700,000 must still be raised to retire the original $4.5 million mortgage, thanks to an anonymous million-dollar matching grant and another $100,000 matching grant. Alice Faye Cleese and her husband, comedian John Cleese, are helping with the final fundraising drive.
