Members of Santa Barbara’s Jewish community met on 11/18 for the second annual communitywide Teach-in On Israel. The event, sponsored by the Israel Committee of Santa Barbara, comprised lectures and panels aimed at increasing people’s understanding of Israel and the challenges faced by leaders in the Middle Eastern peace process. Among those speaking were former Clinton campaign adviser Steven Spiegal and renowned documentarian David Lewis.
