The Lowdown:
We’ve all heard that old saying, “You can’t take it with you.” That may be true, but the fact is that most of us would like to make sure that the assets we leave behind will be of specific benefit to the ones we love, to our favorite charities, or both. Since the transfer of assets involves financial planning, legal aspects and other considerations, we need experts to advise and guide us. Estate Planning Fundamentals brings together three such experts for that very purpose. In this four-hour seminar you’ll learn about wills and why you need one, the advantages of revocable or living trusts, the use of unified credit, how to use life insurance to decrease taxable assets, and how to reduce estate taxes while increasing earnings and assets. The presenters are local experts in their respective fields: Len Jarrott, MBA, CCIM (realtor, broker and real estate investor), Joseph Green, Esq. (attorney at law), and E. David Yossem, CFP, ChFC.
There will be an extensive question and answer session, and helpful materials that you can take with you.
