Pedal to the Metal

The Santa Barbara Bicycle Coalition is accepting entries for its annual Bike Art competition, to be held Saturday, May 17, at Chase Palm Park (236 E. Cabrillo Blvd.). Entrants are asked to use their imagination to decorate and rework rideable works of art. The best adult entry gets a $200 reward, and there’s $100 up for grabs for the best youth entry. Rumor Has It

The SBCC Theatre Group is holding auditions for upcoming performances of Neil Simon’s Rumors on Monday, May 5, and Tuesday, May 6, from 7-10 p.m. in the Jurkowitz Theatre.
