Give a Little

• Anyone with a sweet tooth knows that the only thing better than baked goods are baked goods for a cause. So we encourage you to indulge your love for all things scrumptious and head on over to Garden Court (1116 De la Vina St.) this Thursday and Friday, July 10-11, from noon to 5 p.m., where the lovely residents have stirred up a cookie sale to benefit the Food Bank of Santa Barbara. Call 560-7991 for details.

• The Transition House (425 E. Cota St.), in conjunction with Santa Barbara City College’s CIOF Program, is opening its computer lab to the public for the summer months. Starting now, the lab will be open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4:30-7:30 p.m. SBCC representatives will be present for hands-on tutorials, or you can browse the Internet or use Microsoft office programs for free! Call 966-9668 for more info.

• Goleta’s historic Stow House Museum is looking for volunteers to help give tours, teach children, assist with special events, and intern for the summer. For more information, or to apply, contact Dacia or Cheryl by calling 681-7216.
