Barbara Warren, the 65-year-old San Diego woman who broke her neck while competing in the biking portion of the 8/23 Santa Barbara Triathlon, died on Tuesday, 8/26, at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. The crash had paralyzed Warren, and she reportedly asked to be taken off the ventilator that was helping her breathe. (/barbarawarren)
