Bring your entire family for the 28th annual Los Olivos Day in the Country on Saturday, October 18, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and celebrate with activities, entertainment, crafts, wine tasting, an apple pie contest, and plenty of food and entertainment! The day will start with a series of 5k run/walks for adults and children and a pancake breakfast. At 10 a.m., the parade will roll down the center of town, featuring horses, cars, vintage farm machinery, and local marching groups. This year, Peter Feldmann and The Very Lonesome Boys will entertain the crowds with their lively, traditional bluegrass music. Also featured is the very popular Zoo to You presentation of live animals hosted by the Wildling Art Museum. The streets will be lined with crafts made by local artisans with something for everyone. Kids’ activities will be going on throughout the day. Come enjoy all that Los Olivos has to offer! Proceeds support town beautification, flagpole and street maintenance, and other community events. Free. Call 688-1731 or visit losolivosca.com for more info.
