• The Carpinteria Valley Museum of History will hold its last Flea Market of the year on Saturday, October 25, from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. on the museum grounds (956 Maple Ave., Carpinteria). Don’t miss this last opportunity of the year to find one-of-a-kind bargains on antiques, collectibles, and hand-crafted gifts from over 70 vendors! • On Saturday, October 25, at 7 p.m., Grappolo’s Trattoria in Santa Ynez (3687 Sagunto St.) will host a benefit dinner, wine tasting, and auction for the Animal Rescue Team, a nonprofit dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of injured, orphaned, and abused wild and domestic animals. • Enjoy an evening of wine tasting, savories and appetizers from local restaurants, and an array of chocolate truffles at a fundraiser for Foodbank of S.B. County on Wednesday, October 29, from 5-8 p.m. at the Inn of the Spanish Garden (915 Garden St.). There will also be live music from Anthony Ybarra and a silent auction to benefit the BackPack Program for Kids, which enables the Foodbank to distribute a backpack containing six nutritious meals of ready-to-eat food and fresh fruit to needy children.
