Sara de la Guerra, the pseudonymous author of the popular Blogabarbara, made “her” last post on 5/17 after more than four years of covering Santa Barbara politics, media, and culture. A blog site intended for community discussion, Blogabarbara drew dozens of regular comment-posters. The site reached its height in popularity following the staff resignations at the Santa Barbara News-Press in 2006, and paved the way for other Santa Barbara-oriented blogs and online media.
