Senior Deputy District Attorney Joyce Dudley secured key endorsement this week from the Santa Barbara County Firefighters Association, a union representing 225 sworn firefighters throughout the county. While Dudley has also garnered the endorsement of the Santa Barbara city police union, her opponent Joshua Lynn has the influential County Deputy Sheriff’s Association backing him. The last day for candidates to declare for the race is 3/17, though no one else is expected to jump into the race.
