The Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors spent a full day at the Upham Hotel downtown interviewing candidates to replace CEO Mike Brown, who will be stepping down into retirement come October. The supervisors have whittled their choices down to eight candidates, and could decide whom to appoint within the next couple of weeks.
