After touching the lives of so many in Santa Barbara through her 27 years of community work, including Hospice of Santa Barbara, Gail Rink will be remembered during a public memorial at the Courthouse Sunken Garden.

Rink was a pillar of the Santa Barbara community and a leading force in the field of compassionate care and end of life issues. She served with the Hospice of Santa Barbara for 27 years, first as a social worker and then as the executive director, until her retirement in 2008. Rink died on July 27, 2010

WHAT: A public memorial to honor and remember the life of Gail M. Rink, former executive director of the Hospice of Santa Barbara. The event is open to the public. Guests are invited to bring flowers to place on the stage.
