The Central Coast Wine Growers in conjunction with the Central Coast Vineyard Team are holding two Erosion Awareness Workshops to educate the agricultural community about the revised San Luis Obispo County grading ordinance.

The first workshop will be held on Tuesday, August 31 at Wild Horse Winery in Templeton starting at 9:00am. For reservations or specific information, contact Kate Joyce at 805-369-2288 or send her an email..

For those that can not attend the first workshop; the second will be held on Tuesday, September 7 at Tolosa Winery across from the San Luis Obispo Airport. This session will start at 4:00pm for those that can not make morning meetings. To reserve a spot, or for more information; contact John Burke at 805-928-4950 or send an email.

The seminars will focus on erosion control, and attendees will learn what practices are allowed under Agricultural Grading and which require Alternative Review and or a Grading Permit.
