The All Male Review is Out

All Male, all month, The All Male Review is the art exhibit at the Ojai Center for the Arts running Saturday, September 4 through Thursday, September 30. This year’s show is once again an invitational with artist’s chosen by the Art Center’s gallery committee.

“We started doing a yearly themed show like this to get more men involved down here,” said Teri Mettala, Art Center Director, “We’ve continued it because of its popularity.”

The work presented will range from the landscapes of Norman Kirk to the inner landscape of Kirk Lowry. Richard Franklin and Tiger Huang are both known for their exquisite work with the human figure and photographer Leo Braun always makes a delightful surprise of his subject. And of course we expect sumptuous subjects from Tom Hardcastle be they birds, plants or vistas.

The Art Center invites you to come be part of this all male celebration of art. The reception is Sunday, September 5, from 1-3:00 p.m. While you are there consider buying an original piece of art with 30 % of the sale going to support the oldest all volunteer nonprofit art center in California.
