Local Sotheby’s International Realty agent Frank Abatemarco has been appointed as the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County’s Chairman of the Board. Frank has served as a board member for the past two years.

“Frank’s passion for the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County is incredibly evident,” said Senior Vice President and Brokerage Manager of Sotheby’s International Realty, Santa Barbara, Greg Tice. “It is because of Frank’s enthusiasm and the mission this organization stands for that Sotheby’s International Realty, Santa Barbara has chosen to support the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County.”

The mission of the Foodbank is “to provide nourishment to those in need by acquiring and distributing safe nutritious foods via local agencies and providing education to solve hunger and nutrition problems in Santa Barbara County,” as explained on their website.

“We want to do more than just feed the hungry of our communities; we want the clients our member agencies serve to be healthy and strong by providing them with fresh produce and good food,” said Frank Abatemarco. “I consider it to be an honor and a privilege to be involved with the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County.
