Four men accused of murdering George Ied each pleaded not guilty on 11/9. In an arraignment before Superior Court Judge Donna Geck, brothers Miguel and Ismael Parra, Steven Santana, and Michael Cardenas all entered pleas through their attorneys. The quartet face a murder charge with a gang enhancement, and a charge of committing a crime to benefit a criminal street gang. Police allege the four, who are still in custody, attacked Ied as he walked home from work early in the morning of 10/12. Ied was on life support at Cottage Hospital until he succumbed to his injuries on 10/16. The group will be back in court on 11/15 to set a date for a preliminary hearing.
